PRANK PROJECT
Pranks in The Moonlight
A multimedia project where a fictional marionette theater has set up its stage on the square. The marionettes are timeless, androgynous world citizens. In this project the theater is a metaphor for the world. In the center of the project is a digitally controlled mechanical theater.
In the light of the dark night
Stars are singing
dreams are woven
Who put up their theater
When we slept as best?
Actors in porcelain
Torsten Jurell has since 2012 worked with different variants and ceramic expressions around this project. All ceramic works are created by him in Jingdezhen, China.
